Skipping ahead / Fast Forward leaves de-sync.

I had this issue with PS3Media Server. To fix it, all it took was going back, then hitting play again, and it re-adjusted itself. However, this is not happening with UMS. It never re-syncs itself. Audio becomes mis-matched by like half a second or so. I checked the same scenes out on my PC and they played perfectly. Pretty much default options. Mencoder or FFMpeg.

Now I need skip ahead, as the shows I am watching have 1.30M intros, and watching 3-4 in a row, it's frustrating that I'd have to watch them each time.
