minimum item limit

Post by zangetsu »

i think i am having trouble with the minimum item limit, as i can put 100 files in a directory and see them all but if i put 300 files in the same directory some of them never show up in universal media server, when using my Sony BDP-S590.

am i putting too many files in the directory or will files not show up if maybe metadata tagged on the file is corrupt ?

i can load all the pictures in windows photo viewer in windows 7 pro and they all show up in windows file explorer, but when i try to view them on my television using the sonly blu ray player via universal media player only some of them show up in the file listing. the ones that do not show up do not even show a broken picture icon. it is as if they just do not exist, but they are all right there.

i guess i could limit a folder to maybe 100 pictures but it would be great if there was a way i could have as many files in one folder as i wanted.

any and all helpful advice is much appreciated.

thank you.
