[SOLVED] UMS stopped seeing PS3
I have used UMS for a few years. I am using Win7 64. PS3 connected wirelessly. Used to be able to connect without any issues. Static IP given to both PS3 and PC (as always the case). Tried the following:
- Disabled Firewall
- Changed port - but I could see using netstat that no other program was using it anyway.
- First started UMS, then switched on PS3.
- First started PS3, then UMS.
- Forced using the wireless card (but was using it already, and always has).
I am attaching the log file. The only one it connects it the the WMP server of my own computer (not that I want to...) It used to connect to that before as well, when it was connecting to the PS3 at the same time, so I don't think that it the issue.
I am really baffled why it stopped working!!

I had the same problem two days ago. Solution - restart WiFi router. It may help also for you. It really seems to be a network problem.

Yep, that fixed it - I should have tried resetting the WiFi router in the first place! Thanks
