Some photo folders show no files?

I have some folders of photos which are jpgs that do not show. I am streaming using 5.1.0 to a Playstation 3. But also they don't work using the web interface. The message in the log is: 03-29 10:00:49 The file G:\SharedPics\2007 Radiance Alaska\ala3101.jpg could not be parsed. It will be hidden

Other folders processed the exact same way show fine... any thoughts? Thanks for any help you can provide.
