[Solved] UMS 5.1.1.1 MKV files not playing

I am trying to play a 1080 MKV on my ps3. I don't get an error message and the PS3 just sits at a black screen until I get bored of watching the black screen.

I set my log level to trace and zipped the files as requested in the sticky. They are attached.

UMS is hosted on a reasonably fresh Win 8.1 Pro install. (patched, AV, and programs installed only.)

Yest that works much better.

It seems to have an issue finding new videos. Some I got today are not listed even after restarting the server.

But it does play the files 5.1.1.1 wouldn't. Thanks!

That's strange it's not finding new videos, it doesn't have that issue for me. It can take a while for the PS3 to refresh the file list, does it happen if you wait for it?

Hmm it seems to be for only one show. The others all seem fine. It must be something to do with the files.

Recommend you to try Video Converter software. It can convert MKV files to PS3 compatible format so as to play MKV on PS3 smoothly.
