folders are displayed

hi,

"video = false" and "Image = false" do not have any more effect on the display of the files. I still see the videos and images folders on my yamaha RN500.

Are you speaking about folders or files. With that setting folders are always displayed to give you chance to go to the subfolders. Only not supported files are hidden (not shown) and it works fine for me.
Where do you set this ?

I am speaking about folders. In previous version 5.0.1 folders weren't displayed at all, that's a good thing. Yes, only not supported files are hidden but if i go into the folders the system is searching for a very long time.

Did you try "Hide empty folders" in UMS? Same behavior?

I don't know about this feature much but expect three possible behavior:
- only empty folders will be hidden as no file is inside
- all folders with no relevant media file is hidden whatever settings is used (Audio/Video/Image=True/False)
- all folders with no relevant media file is hidden where media files are filtered upon settings (Audio/Video/Image=True/False)
I don't know how it exactly works
