UMS 5.1.4 unsupported file

Post by Lajkonik »

Hello all, I'm new to the forum !

Here is the problem I faced yesterday:

I watched a Game of Thrones season 6 finale in the morning (using UMS), then later after system restart I was prompted to update the UMS, so I did.
When I tried to run the episode again, I was told it was 'unsupported file'.
By installing previous and previous versions of UMS (I was away from home for a while so the version I was updating before was older then just 5.1.3) I ended up with version 5.0.0 which plays the file.

Is it something I need to change in settings to play this file with the newest version or is it a longer story ? Cheers !

Better include your log files as per viewtopic.php?f=3&t=556

I have the same issue with a ps3. I'll submit a log file in the morning. I had to use transcode ffmpeg aac audio to get it to work. Note the ps4 now supports dlna streaming!
