UMS 5.2.2 not detecting PS3...

Post by goombakid »

Hello all!

I just recently updated from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2 (Java 8 version, Windows 7 x86). Prior to updating, UMS was working fine (PS3 detected with no problems). During the update, I did not opt for a clean install. After installing the new version, UMS is now not detecting the PS3.

I've tried restarting the server and reinstalling the Java 8 version again with the clean install option selected. My PS3 is still undetected.

I've also tried reinstalling 5.2.1, PS3 is undetected.

What's odd is it detects my 2 Chromecasts and my Xbox 360.

I've recently updated my Windows 7 and Java as well, prior to updating UMS. The firmware on the PS3 has also been recently updated to 4.76.

I've tried allowing UMS through Windows firewall, even disabling the firewall, but still no go. I've also tried selecting my wireless card from the force networking on interface option.

My computer that I'm streaming from is connected to my home network wirelessly to my router; the PS3 is wired to the router. I mainly use my PS3 for streaming files from my computer.

I've attached the UMS log to this post.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks You.

OK, so I don't know what happened, but UMS is finally seeing my PS3, but now while streaming, the audio will stop playing, then the video will pause, then the PS3 gives me "There's an error with the server" message.

Playback on the 360 yields the same results, disconnecting from the server midway through playback.

Newer debug file uploaded.

Please help.
