Is it possible to block devices?
What I want is for only specific devices, or perhaps even just one specific device, to be able to connect to my computer running UMS.
Is there some way to do this through the program?
Or some way at all?

Re: Is it possible to block devices?
Yes, per IP address.
In the GUI, if you go to the "General Configuration" tab, under "Network Settings" you will find "Use an IP filter (whitelist)". Anter IP addresses you want to be able to reach UMS here, comma separated.
You can also create a file "UMS.deny" in your profile folder (the same folder where UMS.conf is placed, normally C:\ProgramData\UMS on Windows) where you can blacklist addresses.

Re: Is it possible to block devices?
so basically to block a device from accessing ums it isn't ums.deny but the ip-filter list in ums.conf thanks to infidel.
