Solved: Update: run as administrator

For some reason I can't update to the new version that was released today. It tells me an update is available but I need to run UMS as an administrator in order to be able to update.
I've double-checked, the account I'm logged into for windows 8.1 has administrator rights.

What am I missing?

just right click on the updater and click run as administrator windows security has always been overly done i run into this issue as well

Start>all programs>right click on UMS>properties>compatibility>check run as an administrator
