All ports blocked and PS3 never shows up

Post by MrBlud »

No matter which port I select it always says it's being used. Sometimes though, after a few seconds it'll say

"The server is now available for renderers to find"

but I've never been able to get my PS3 to show up. I have my firewall off and no anti-virus stuff enabled to cause conflict.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you set UMS IP address to 192.168.1.1? It should be either 192.168.1.143 for wired or 169.254.190.104 for wireless connection. It depends on which subnet are your renderers. Remember that UMS and all renderers must be on the same subnet otherwise it will not work. Please try to leave the UMS address empy and set the "Force networking on interface:" to subnet you use.
