How to avoid double thumbnails ?

Post by UMSUwe »

Target is to see for various and changing videosfiles the preview of the videocover and not to see the corresponding image.
Example:
The cache is disabled. The folder (for example by connected individual USB Stick) includes the videofiles (<movie.avi>) and in the same folder the image of the cover (<movie.jpg>).
Then the Samsung TV shows the videofile with the correct videocover, but in addition the videocover as an image itself. This image isn't necessary or in this case all covers are showed twice (as thumbnail of the video and as thumbnail of the image)

The checkbox "Image thumbnail" only suppress the thumbnail of the image, not the imagebox itself on TV. This results in an overview of the videofiles (with the cover) and a lot of boxes (of the images without thumbnail)

The request is to have the possibility (or automatic mode), if the name of the image has the same name of the videofile, then the image (and box) is suppressed. Alternative all images are suppressed (especially in case of "no cache")

Thx a lot and regards / Uwe
