Best replacement for my bricked PS3

So, to make a (very long and stressful) story short, my PS3 is bricked.

I used it exclusively to watch Netflix and play local videos using UMS and my PC. Now I need a new Media Player. I considered a PS4 but it is a rather expensive thing to buy to only play videos.

So, which Media Player on the market are best to suit my needs and replace the PS3? And by that I mean: full compatibility with UMS is a must.
