Bug with LG SmartTV

Post by Link6280 »

Hi,

I had bought a LG 43UF64 smartTV.

I using UMS since a long time (~5 years). I haven't any problem for connect UMS and PS3/XBOX360/cellphone.

With my New television, I have "lag" with smartshare (~one seconde video> ~one seconde loading etc.). On the PC, all seems OK but i'm seeing 2 televisions detected and the 2 stop if I close TV. Only one seems active.
I think if it's possible that the second "TV" try to connect on the serveur and interrupt all second the first... The TV is connect by ethernet on the router and my PC too.

Anyone can help me? :o

Thanks :)

Bonjour,

Merci

For testing you can try to disable all LG TV confs except LG-WebOS or make a new config file for your new TV.

Simply go to the General Configuration tab, click the Select Renderers button and deselect unwanted renderers.

I've just bought a new LG TV ( OLED 55B6V with WebOS 3.0 ) and I've the same issue. I see two renderer found by UMS.
Disabling all LG profiles just make them appear as "uknow renderer".

I'm trying making a trace, and I've deleted the debug.log before strarting up ums.
But when I try to check the debug.log, it seems there are a lot of things going in the backround.. Even if I play only one video on the TV, I see a lot of info about other videos in the library that I haven't touched.. I'll see what happen when I create maybe a library with just one movie in it.

Apart for that, it seems to work like on my PS3, except when transcoding for subtitles where I loose the ability to seek forward in time (but I think it's the same as it was for the PS4, so not UMS fault).
