Runs only two minutes of video and stop. I believe it is something related to file size as they are little more than 2minutes to 1080p and just over 4 minutes to 720p. Sending log file.

Can you try enabling chunked transfer in your conf?

For devs: UMS is sending incorrect content range. A subsequent try to read the end of file returns invalid response and hence renderer drops the connection.

Did not work. The same problem persists. Wheel for a certain time and stop.

I just bought pretty similar model I think .. KD-55XD8005 .. maybe I am blind but I can not figure out where to start playing media server files. I noticed UMS is recognized in settings/media servers ... anyone with Sony Android and can help a fellow earth citizen, thanks

Nevermind, found it. It's the VIDEO app on Home menu

Nevermind, found it. It's the VIDEO app on Home menu

I have the KD65-XD7505, is UMS working for you ? for me videos list appear but when i launch one only have a black screen

I just get the spinning circle. I tried Plex and Kodi .. both of these do work with the tv.

Though with Kodi I seem to have some sort of cached list.. no matter what I do I can't get the tv to refresh my folders.

Anyone using a Sony telly with Android OS .. download VLC for Android.

Just did number of tests and it plays everything with UMS, unlike the crappy internal media player.
