Media Server question.
So I have some video on an external hard drive/PC.
Shared the drive on the network.
I made a network drive of it and add it to my main PC.
So I opened UMS and added the network folder.
I played the video on my PS3 and saw no lag on 720P video.
The "slave" PC is next to the PS3. That one has the Videos to stream.
I use my much stronger PC to open UMS and add the network drive from "slave" PC.
I assume it also handles all the processing as-well.
Also since the other PC is closer to ps3,to me it seems that the signal is better?
Is this practical?
