Phillips 49PUS6561/12 Android TV MKV transcode fail

Hi,
I own a Phillips 49PUS6561/12 Android TV and I used to use UMS to view videos on it. Now I always get the "transcode failed" playback failed message on vlc when I try to play MKV videos from my UMS media folder. No HD videos on my 4K tv?
Please help.

4K can be set manually. Just add these 2 lines in your renderer configuration file:
