We might not be able to support "streaming" subtitles for your device, which is when we send the subtitle as its own stream along with the video and audio. It's possible that the device doesn't support that kind of thing, or just that we are doing it a different way to what it expects.

If it says Subrip it found a external subtitle, like a srt file.


But if you remove the srt file, do you still get a subtitle?

If you still got subtitles in the Movie the subtitle is embedded in the video file.

We use a higher value for our Philips Aurea config so I guess it is a matter of just setting a number that will be higher than any video. So I think this should work:

TranscodedVideoFileSize = 100000000000


I've tried the two conf files for PUS but now my TV can't see my shared folder at all ...

I got the same problem.
I dont now if its because newer Philips TV got a real updated Android OS now, and not a mix of OS like it used to be.

I tried many configurations on my Philips Oled 873, and nothing works.
It can show ...

thank you for responding, I made a debug log.
My TV is a PUS8503 if that helps and I'm using this conf file.
