Re: Samsung BD-H6500 BR/DVD Player
Also, if this container is not the best (transport stream) What would your recommended re-encoding method be for these files? (and continue to work on PS3 as well)

Samsung BD-H6500 BR/DVD Player
So,
I just recently replaced my PS3 with this player (had to move PS3 to basement)
I've got a library of ripped DVD's in .ts format that will not play on the player - well they play, but only for a few seconds, and the audio is -way- off. After a few seconds, it will start playing the next movie ...

Re: Best format for PS3 stream (no transcode)
Excellent, thanks. I'm not sure why I was muxing them in to a TS container, but oh well, they work fine, and they look great. So, I'll stick with that, as it's basically what I do, minus the h264 conversion.

Re: Best format for PS3 stream (no transcode)
Yes, they are native, but I tsmux them into .ts container.
They seem to be perfect in quality and sound, but I just wanted to see what others have proven useful.
Additionally, I'll be adding an XBOX 360 and a Samsung Smart TV here shortly, and am looking for best format that will be good for all ...

Re: Samsung un60f8000
I have this television as well, same model. I can't see movie covers either on mine.
Also, the streaming is extremely jerky, like lost frames. Are you able to stream with no issues like this?

Re: New Media 'folder'
Can you add a catch for adhering to the option of not displaying empty folders as well?
I have a lot of folders, and they all show in the 'new media' folder whether there are new items or not within that folder.
Thanks! This is a very nice additional to this already great software!
James
