Replace mediainfo dll with latest version:

If it works, wait for new UMS version, if not, post debug.log

push ,i had tested all Universal Media Server ( 5.0.0 - 6.0b, ,Java 8 vesion) , cannot display non-latin (eg.Chinese ) name video file which "Folder contain non-latin charater".

Even i replace the lastest libmediainfo.dylib, fonts.conf, fonts.dtd.
How evern the Jave 6 version is Not problem on 5.0 ...

Hi popoguy, can you please try to copy the file "libmediainfo.dylib" from 5.0.0 onto the latest version? I think that might fix it

However the problem is solved at 5.2.3 Java 6 version.

Now i just tested on UMS 5.3.1 (Java 8 version ), it also appear ...

So do i , i have same problem, since form UMS version 5.0 Java8, can anyone fix the asia ut8 characters on mac ?

Problem: Universal Media Server 5.0.1 - 5.1.4 still cannot display non-latin character (Parsing characters)
But UMS 5.00(release Jan 2015) can work.

Problem:(can not browse folder name and file name on non-latin character, eg, Japanese , Chinese, (UTF8).., even change file name to latin character ...

UMS can not display the file name in Version 5.01, 5.02, 5.1, 5.1.1

It can not display the file name:
1) when the folder name is contain chinese or Japan unicode name
2) when the file name is contain chinese or Japan unicode name

UMS Version 5.0 is no problem , Any one can fix it?

I find it on debug.log file by using Universal Media Server 5.0, it occur strang message:
line 6 title : scOrp @ 300mbunited.com, that i never visit. Anyone can help

i also have such problem "not be parsed. It will be hidden"
when using Asian name like chinese, the movie file cannot display in using UMS 5.01.
but 5.00 is OK.

PLS FIX IT.
