Update - found out that the Bravia needed a Software update.

Tried it with fingers crossed .....

Still no show for UMS though :-(

My new TV is having problems identifying UMS :-(

When I try to access "Universal Media Server" (which shows up on the TV as an option) I am getting the following message:

"Cannot access the server. Please check the server settings."

Just incase anyone else may want to try out these Marantz configs from Sami32 , it will be helpful to know how to 'change' the file name from 'txt' to just 'conf' . As usual, Apple haven't made it that easy for us Mac users.

I didn't know if any of the suggestions from Sami32 would still work with my later set-up - anyhow, I carried out a FFmpeg upgrade (I'm now using the latest directly from the FFmpeg site for Mac - 3.4.2) and patiently worked my way though all the suggested (and kindly provided) Marantz ...
