Re: 24-bit FLAC files "This content cannot be played."

With U5, 16 bit flac plays OK
But a 24bit wav file generated white noise (from mediainfo - 2 117 Kbps, 44.1Khz, 24 bits, 2 channels, PCM (Little / SIgned)
Let me know if you want a copy of the log file in debug mode.

Re: Version 5.0.0 is released

U5 is really great. However, just looked at the log files and note VLC is not found .. 01-26 16:40:32 VSFilter / DirectVobSub was not found. This can cause problems when trying to play subtitled videos with AviSynth. 01-26 16:40:32 Searching for plugins in C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Serv...

Re: Version 5.0.0 is released

I just tried BubbleUPNP on my Android tablet with UMS 5 and it worked fine. The only issue is that my networked Windows 8 PCs are registering as default PlayStation 3 renderers and my Android tablet as Chromecast (it uses the default Android browser).

Re: Multiple instances

Many thanks - hard coding the conf files has made a difference with the access on the wireless Panasonic being a lot more fluid and stable. The PS3 is static at 192.168.1.7 - should I force this in the conf file. Likewise should I give the Panasonic TV a static address and then load that to the conf...

Re: Version 3.6.3 is released

Thanks for the latest release. How does this compare to 4.0.0-a1- supposedly 4 adds the new web interface which is not planned for 3. I was forcing transcode of MP4 and M2TS files but found with playback of MP4 using 3.6.3 and the latest Cambridge Audio 752bd firmware suddenly stopped. The direct pl...

OSX Renderer direcrtory

I have been asked by a friend for the location of the renderer directory in OSX. I don't have access to OSX but I note the the plugins are located here and assume likewise for the renderer conf files .. OSX •~/Library/Application Support/PMS Note that in OSX Lion the users "Library" folder...
