I am searching for over 2 hours. read all i could read. I am trying to stream to my philips oled803tv

My problem is that i cannot set the greek language subtitle at all. Whatever i put in the subtitles priority or forced language fields i ...

If it says Subrip it found a external subtitle, like a srt file.


But if you remove the srt file, do you still get a subtitle?

If you still got subtitles in the Movie the subtitle is embedded in the video file.


Like in my case.
I got external subs, a srt file.

But my TV wont display that ...

This is very strange.

If i Use:
TranscodeVideo = MPEGTS-H264-AC3
TranscodeAudio = WAV
MaxVideoWidth = 4096
MaxVideoHeight = 2160

I can get the subtilte to be shown for a couple of seconds.
If I change TranscodeAudio = WAV to like Mp3, i wont get any subs.

If i leave audio at WAV and change ...

The TV does not support subtitles on video streams from a computer or NAS.

• Containers: PS, TS, M2TS, TTS, AVCHD, MP4, M4V, MKV, ASF, AVI, 3GP, Quicktime
• Video Codecs : AVI, MKV, H264/MPEG-4 AVC, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, VP9
• Audio Codecs : AAC ...

But I think it is strange that specific line makes if subtitles will be shown or not.

If I remove that line and make a few tweaks (that i prefer) it will show my movies perfectly.
But without subs if they not are embedded in the filé.

Just by activate the filesize line it will show subtitles and ...

We use a higher value for our Philips Aurea config so I guess it is a matter of just setting a number that will be higher than any video. So I think this should work:

TranscodedVideoFileSize = 100000000000


I havent tried the new value yet, but just increasing the value to get it to work.

Dont work with -1, not even in #transcode# folder

Tried 0 as value, not working in regular tree menu, but in #transcode# tree, I can get it to work with No convert option. But still no subtitle.



With the high number of TranscodedVideoFileSize in the #transcode# tree The regular first 3 option ...

Ive made this config file.

If i have: TranscodedVideoFileSize = 100000000
I have seen a few minutes now.
I dont have the strenght or time atm to Watch anymore tonight, so I dont know if the problem is solved

If i lower the value to TranscodedVideoFileSize = 1000000
I can see ...

Dont know if there is something with transcoding.

If i go into #transcode folder

With no cenvert i can see the Movie, still no subtitle from external.

If i choose transcode, FFmpeg, MEncoder or tsMuxeR it crashes.
