It did not change the fast forwarding, and what also happens when i press play again after 1 minute of trying to fast forward, is that it takes a while before it starts again.
No idea if that's because it's trying or that it can't process the fast forwarding but thought i'd mention it.

And sure made a trace log from when trying to play a movie from the 5.0 version, it worked also couldn't forward and it seemed to take longer this time before it resumed playing after i pressed play other then that it worked like the other version.

Also do you want more then just the trace log like normal debug thing or is this good?

Since i haven't gotten a reply yet i think i should ask again.

Do you need more then just the trace log? And while i'm at it any ideas about why i can't fast forward (or is this something common now?)?

It's possible that the device doesn't support fast-forwarding via network play, unfortunately some devices are just like that

If you can find the old version or old setting that enabled it we can make it work again :)

Hey i'm back with another problem (same device so didn't see a reason to make a new topic)

Last time i was left with using "ums5.0.0-a1-java7" wich worked for awhile, usually it let me play 2 videos no matter the length and nr 3 it didn't want to play requiring me to restart the program or if that didn't work reboot the pc.
Since i got annoyed with that i checked the latest updates and saw you included the home cinema system so i removed the test version wich still had the unstable mark and installed "ums-4.3.1-java8.exe".

When trying to play a file i either get the error "can not play" (literally translated this from dutch) or i get an error stating that my network connectivity is lost and that i should check my settings.

The "can not play" error is weird since sometimes the video names are greyed out and sometimes they are in normal black font like you would be able to play them.
The "network error" i checked into and so far found no errors so no idea if that is a problem with ums or the bluray itself (thought i'd mention it, never know if it's important)

Made a trace file as i recall you needed it

I unfortunately did not make a tracelog of how the test version played files. Here is where it gets even weirder, i used the test version last saturday so that's the 13th and it worked like described before with 2 vids playing and needing a reboot for the second one, also it gave stuttering images when i first try'ed to use it but a reboot fixed that. When i tried to reinstall the test version to make a trace log for you guys it also gave the error "can not play" or "network error".

I hope you guys have some ideas on what it might be this time

Okay so it's fixed again

I believe the problem was the bluray system itself, seems it goes in standby mode when we push the power button so i left it unplugged for a couple days and nights and now it works like it should again.
Just so i would have a trace log of the file actually working i enable it every time now and thought it was only fair to post it here and let you know it works as it should

Thanks for the help and as far as i'm concerned this issue has been resolved. Again thanks a ton.
