PS4 isnt found through UMS anymore

I just had this happen as well, after a new java update. Literally just found out, so I'm trying to roll back java to see if that's the issue.

Ok, I figured out what happened. Its NOT a incompatibility issues with UMS.. Its Java's stupid auto updater. It "updated" my current java 8 install to a current java 7 install! Since I'm running the version of UMS that requires java 8, of course it failed connecting.

I manually installed the latest java 8 on my system and it over wrote the java 7 garbage, and restored ums functionality.

Hi,

tried it with no effect. For whatever reason, it works when turning off my firewall eventhough my TV gets recohnised perfectly

Any ideas?
