UMS wont connect while using PIA

SO THIS IS AN OFF AND ON ISSUE!!!

I have installed PIA and now UMS has connection issues with my Samsung television. It was working fine up until the latest update. In the past I have uninstalled PIA and reinstalled and everything works fine. It seems that there should be something I can do to make both work together but I'm at a loss.

What's PIA?

I think it stands for Private Internet Access / VPN

For me they where working together fine until about 3 days ago.

Try this:

Go to the "General Configuration" tab and locate the "Force networking on interface:" setting under the "Network settings (advanced)" section. Change that setting to "en0 (your LAN IP address)". Then quit and re-launch. If that doesn't work, keep trying any of the settings listed there besides "en0".

Don't have a selection for eno but I tried whatever was there and nothing worked.
