No Rederers were found - UMS is not finding my PS4 or my PS3

So I was experiencing this same issue for the last few hours, and came to a very simple conclusion. Basically all I had to do was turn on the media player on my PS4 and all of a sudden it showed up in my UMS devices tab. No clue why it took me three hours to try this but hopefully my foolishness saves someone else a whole lot of frustrating hair pulling.

Had a similar issue when I was using wifi on the Media Server PC, which ended up being a Windows 10 setting issue:
Network Status -> Change Connection Properties -> Make this PC Discoverable

This was set to OFF by default. Changed to ON and problem solved.

This is almost always due to a firewall or that the server and the renderer(s) are on separate subnets. Make sure that there's no router between your devices and that the firewall on the computer running UMS is off.
