UMS Disconnects while playing at 40 minutes
Hi,
I'm having the seemingly common problem that after about 40 minutes, UMS disconnects, and I have to restart the PS4 to get it working again.
I tried uninstalling the latest version and installing UMS 5.2.0 to see if that might help, but the old version did the same as the new.
I'm including a copy of my log file with the error recreated at 10:30:08.
Thanks so much for your help.

Re: UMS Disconnects while playing at 40 minutes
There's nothing wrong with this post - I don't know why nobody has replied. It might be that nobody has any idea what the problem might be and doesn't feel they have something to contribute.
One thing I can see in your log is that UMS constantly tries and fails to communicate with a Chromecast device. Chromecast is a problem for us since Google doesn't share the protocol specification (so it's all trial-and-error) and none of the (active) developers have one. I don't know if that's what's causing the disconnects, but it would be worth testing if disconnecting the Chromecast from the network would make any difference.

You are using Java 32-bit version on the 64-bit WIN 10. Try to uninstall this Java version and install the 64-bit Java.

I really appreciate your help.
I've updated to 64 bit Java and had the same issue. Here's the new dbug file.

Shutdown Azureus, MiniUPnPc, and add in your UMS.conf file found in your profile folder.
Go in "General configuration" tag, click on "Select renderers" button and keep only the one that you want use for now for testing purpose (PS4).
Pray and reboot UMS
If nothing improved, try with an other media server, to verify if you have the same issue, and withdraw your network quality/stability from the causalities of this issue.
Since you have many DLNA tools, i guess that you have already done that ?
Did this issue only appear with PS4 renderer ?
Please, don't forget to leave feedback.
EDIT: You can also try to go into the device manager of your PC, open network adapter, right click and properties, click on power management tab, make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", is unchecked, if it isn't unchecked it then click ok.
Code: Select all
chromecast_extension = false
