I'm using PS3MS but its unstable and slow when rewinding. everything works but its not smooth as UMS. thats why I need this to work.
I even set the preferences in UMS just like in PS3MS. almost everything is the same but subs are not working.

We fixed this bug (or a similar one) soon after releasing 2.3.0 and it will be in 2.4.0
It should be fixed in this test version: http://www.spirton.com/uploads/UMS/UMS-javahang.exe

...says nothing
Switch to TRACE logging (in XML file or maybe it is already in UMS GUI on TRACE tab) and upload debug log ;)

Open up the logback.xml file in the main Universal Media Server directory and change this line of code near the bottom:

Code: Select all

<root level="DEBUG">
to

Code: Select all

<root level="TRACE">
Then save the file.

I was wrong about the code at first. I re-edited it to fix it. That's the correct way to setup tracing. Sorry about that.
