I just updated to the latest version of UMS everytime I play a video the video would play at 1.5 the speed and the audio is 1-2sec behind.
after a few moments the audio plays while the video is at a stand still. I tried to change settings and it did not help, the previous version I have
i did not change any settings at all that i know of.

Yeah I think we've seen problems with those episodes before (old thread viewtopic.php?f=9&t=385) but the guy disappeared so we didn't fix it.
What happens if you go to the Transcoding Settings tab, select "MEncoder" on the left, then untick "Remux videos with tsMuxeR"?

I just tested it and the file works fine for me when I have unticked "remux with tsmuxer". Make sure you click save after you untick it too or it won't work :)
As for the other thing, that sometimes happens if the PS3 has been on for a while, just restart it

I'm having a similar problem, but only with some MKV files of Doctor Who. The first two episodes works fine, but I can't play the third on my TV. I just get a black screen... The same happens with some movies too.
