[fixed] Problem with file length display on ps3 since 3.0

UPDATE: I just installed version 3.1.2.1 clean and I don't have this problem anymore, so thanks.

Since version 3.0 I can't skip to different parts of a movie because the length is shown to be 00:00:00 when I transcode with mencoder and FFmeg. WIth tsmuxer the length is always 25:20:43.

Only with no encoding on an avi file does it display the correct time.

I watch on a PS3 and didn't have this problem with the latest 2.x version. I did a clean install.

this is what i wanted to ask. It happened to me the same, the lenght doesn´t show anymore, and with the playstation 3 i don´t be able to go to a specific time to keep on watching the movie/tv series

any solution?

Have you tried version 3.1.2.1? If it does not work, please follow the link in my signature

my version is the last one. with the one before it freezes the movies and doesn´t work very well with the maverick software.

i try now to follow your instructions, but when i put the program that happened to me:
